Some stories begin with vision. Others begin when vision changes. For this collaboration, Odette Lunettes partners with Rien à Voir, founded by Karl Meesters. A meeting of design and perception where eyewear becomes a reflection of how we experience the world.

Karl Meesters gradually lost his sight due to an eye condition.
What slowly disappeared visually revealed something new. Sound gained depth.
Atmosphere became tangible. Details that often go unnoticed began to stand out.
From this change in perspective, Rien à Voir was born. The project invites people to rediscover how rich the world can be when we experience it beyond sight.

The project raises awareness about visual impairment and encourages people to think about perception in a broader way. Through music, storytelling and cultural experiences, Rien à Voir creates moments that can be shared and appreciated by everyone, including people with visual impairments.
Eyewear is closely connected to the way we see the world. For Odette Lunettes, Karl’s story became the inspiration for a thoughtful design collaboration.
The frames are refined, balanced and timeless. Clean silhouettes and carefully selected materials reflect Odette’s design philosophy while allowing the concept behind the collection to remain central.

Along the side of the frame, the words “Rien à Voir” appear in Braille, the tactile writing system used by people with visual impairments to read through touch.
A small detail that carries the essence of the collaboration and connects the design directly to Karl’s story.
